What is the most essential calling of the Christian faith? Of course, it is to glorify God. But how can we glorify God? Every believer must personally reflect and give an honest answer. Yet whatever the answer is, there is one thing unmistakenly true: proclaiming the gospel, for this is the command of the risen Lord to His disciples.

At the 2025 New Year’s Eve Revival Meeting of Wing Kwong Church, Field Superintendent Rev. Eddy Kwok took the words “I am not ashamed of the gospel” as the action guideline for brothers and sisters in the new year, giving a detailed exposition and launching the annual theme of the Wing Kwong Conference: “Moved to Move.”

Rev. Donavan Ng, on the other hand, used the verse “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” (Matthew 6:33) to explain the duty of Christians. He pointed out that since we are Christians, we can only have God’s kingdom and God’s righteousness; we cannot establish our own kingdom and our own righteousness apart from His. Using Jacob’s winding life as an example, Rev. Ng emphasized that if Christians define right and wrong, good and evil, by themselves rather than living according to God’s Word, that is unbelief.

Beyond this, we have witnessed with our own eyes the local gospel ministry: Ka Fook PHC has purchased a new site, ushering in a new chapter. Overseas, our mission points at Northern Thailand, Kenya, and Singapore have all lived out vibrant and moving testimonies of “not being ashamed of the gospel” and “seeking first God’s kingdom and His righteousness.”May all of us receive grace in Christ the Lord, and together bear witness to the glory of God. Amen!
